William A. Haseltine, PhD, is the chair and president of ACCESS Health International, a nonprofit organization he cofounded in 2007. Dr. Haseltine has an active career in both science and business. He was a professor at Harvard Medical School and Harvard School of Public Health from 1976 to 1993, where he was founder and the chair of two academic research departments, the Division of Biochemical Pharmacology and the Division of Human Retrovirology. He is well known for his pioneering work on cancer, HIV/AIDS, and genomics. He has authored more than two hundred manuscripts in peer reviewed journals and is the author of several books, including Affordable Excellence: The Singapore Healthcare Story and Every Second Counts: India’s Emergency Response System.
He is the founder of Human Genome Sciences, Inc., and served as the chairman and CEO of the company until 2004. He is also the founder of several other successful biotechnology companies. He is chairman of the Haseltine Foundation for Science and the Arts. and of the US-China Health Summit. He is a member of the advisory board of the IE University, Madrid. He is also a Lifetime Governor of the New York Academy of Sciences, an honorary member of the Board of Trustees of the Brookings Institution, and a member of the Council on Foreign Relations.

Biswajeet Chatterjee is responsible for the global finance function at ACCESS Health International. He is a finance professional with over thirty five years of rich industry experience in overall business and finance function. He has worked in global companies like BOC Gases, EI DuPont, Kelly Services and Mother Dairy group. He is experienced in implementation of best practices in finance, corporate governance, merger and acquisitions; business valuation, business restructuring and change management through business process re-engineering, He has also authored a number of popular books in contemporary business and finance topics like International Financial Reporting Standards, Indian Accounting Standards, Financial Reporting under Corporate Restructuring, Financial Reporting under consolidation of subsidiaries, associates and joint ventures and Business Valuation.

Sofi Bergkvist leads the development of new international programs for ACCESS Health. ACCESS Health International originated with Sofi's work in India, where she built strategic partnerships to improve access to high quality, affordable healthcare. Today, she continues to establish and manage partnerships with the private sector, governments, and research and development organizations around the world. Previously, Sofi worked as an analyst for an asset management company in India and as an advisor at the European Commission's delegation to the United Nations in New York. She has a Master's of Science in International Economics from the Stockholm School of Economics and studied at the MBA program at McGill University.

Chang Liu, PhD, is Regional Director for ACCESS Health Singapore and Greater China. He is responsible for the health and aging innovation platforms and leads the research and consulting work for the region. Chang Liu has authored a number of publications, including the Singapore overview for the International Profiles of Health Care Systems from 2017, published by The Commonwealth Fund and London School of Economics, and the epilogue to Affordable Excellence, which documents progress toward sustainable high quality healthcare in Singapore. He is currently working with Dr. William Haseltine on another book about Singapore, A City for All Ages, on how the city state is managing a rapidly aging population.
In addition to his work with ACCESS Health, Chang Liu is also adjunct professor at the Chinese University of Hong Kong and Duke Kunshan University. Previously, he was assistant professor in Health Services and Systems Research at Duke-NUS Graduate Medical School and the Center for Ageing and Education at Duke-NUS. He also worked at the Center for Gerontology and Healthcare Research at Brown University, where he studied long term care and elder care policies in both the United States and China. He earned his PhD in Health Services Research from Brown University with a specialization in health economics. He was awarded the eXebs Friedrich J.Schoening International Scholarship and was named an eXebs Fellow during his exchange study at the European Business School, Germany.
In addition to his work with ACCESS Health, Chang is also adjunct professor at the National University of Singapore Enterprise and the Chinese University of Hong Kong. He also participates in several projects on aging in Singapore, including large scale national surveys and intervention programs. Previously, he worked at the Center for Gerontology and Healthcare Research at Brown University, where he studied long term care and elder care policies in both the United States and China. He earned his PhD in Health Services Research (2013) from Brown University with a specialization in health economics and received a Master's degree in Finance from the Guanghua School of Management of Peking University, China. He was awarded the eXebs Friedrich J. Schoening International Scholarship and named an eXebs Fellow during his exchange study at the European Business School, Germany.
Dr. Krishna Reddy is responsible for the overall development, management, and leadership of the activities of ACCESS Health International in India. His responsibilities include the establishment of collaborations and management of partnerships with government and the public and private sectors as well as with research and development organizations.
Dr. Reddy is a board certified cardiologist with a long and distinguished career, marked by his leadership of the CARE Hospital Group which he co founded in 1997. The CARE Hospital Group grew from a single hospital in Hyderabad with one hundred beds to a multispecialty healthcare provider with fourteen hospitals serving six cities across five states in India. The hospital group is now recognized as the most advanced, complete cardiac care center in the country. The hospitals have become models for patient satisfaction and innovation.
Prior to joining ACCESS Health International, Dr. Reddy was director and vice chairman of CARE Hospitals. He has also served as managing director of Andhra Cardiology Associates, chairman of Relisys Medical Devices, and director of the Care Institute of Medical Sciences and Visaka Hospitals and Diagnostics.

Don Eliseo Lucero-Prisno III leads our Philippines country program, working closely with both public and private sector partners. Before taking up this assignment with ACCESS Health, he was Associate Professor of Public Health at the Department of Public Health of Xi'an Jiaotong-Liverpool University (XJTLU). He remains a member of the academic faculty of the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine (LSHTM) where he teaches Economics of Global Health Policy.
Don is the Founder and Managing Director of Global Health Focus and is Managing Editor of the BMC Global Health Research and Policy Journal. He has extensive experience with the Department of Health in Manila and in the Philippines overall, including as an advisor on health and issues relating to HIV/AIDS. He received his Doctor of Philosophy from Cardiff University, a Doctor of Medicine from the University of the Philippines, and Master of Science in Health Economics, Policy and Law from Erasmus University Rotterdam. He has published substantially and been awarded a number of honors and awards throughout his career.

Adrienne focuses on business development and building our Singapore network. She creates innovative partnerships across public and private sectors that result in new healthcare and aged care models. Adrienne developed the Modern Aging program in Singapore and continues to manage key accounts for the team.
Prior to joining ACCESS Health International, Adrienne worked in education administration for the National University of Singapore Saw Swee Hock School of Public Health. In the US, she had a decade of experience in community health promotion, focusing on reproductive and adolescent health and the prevention and management of noncommunicable chronic diseases. Adrienne received her Master’s of Public Health from the University of Minnesota.

Anna Dirksen is Director of Communications at ACCESS Health International. She has more than ten years of strategic communications experience across a broad range of healthcare issues and geographic areas. Previously, she was Vice President at Corkery Unlimited, one of the leading strategic consulting firms specializing in health and medical communications.
Anna has led communications and outreach strategies at the United Nations Institute for the Advanced Study of Sustainability in Tokyo, Japan, the UN Department of Peacekeeping Operations in the Democratic Republic of Congo, and at the UN Secretariat in New York. She also previously served as Deputy Director of Communications for the global health organization PSI in Washington D.C. She earned her MSc from Columbia University's Graduate School of Journalism and began her career as a television host, reporter, and producer in Canada.

Bela Sehgal is responsible for the overall human resources function at ACCESS Health International and is based out of New Delhi. She is a human resources professional with over forty years of experience within the development sector. Bela has worked with both international and national non- government organisations. Having worked in Strategic Human Resources and Organisation Development functions within the development sector, Bela comes with extensive experience on providing policy direction and strategic advice, management and leadership skills, implementation of organisational change, team building and employee relations, learning and development, developing competency frameworks, devising effective performance management systems, communication, and talent requisition. She is able to devise coherent human resource strategies whilst improving internal processes and procedures within a demanding environment and meeting project deadlines.
Bela’s work experience has been with CARE India, Oxfam GB in India, South Asia and Church’s Auxiliary for Social Action (CASA). She is a qualified professional with a number of certifications from reputed HR institutes.
